Team
Cam founded Rothmere Capital Advisory in 2025, bringing more than 25 years of experience helping entrepreneurs build and grow their businesses. The vast majority of that time has been focused on the investment management industry, including what started as a rather small segment of the Canadian market, alternative assets.

Cam has worked on both sides of the table. As an advisor, he has involved in hundreds of transactions totaling tens of billions of dollars – raising equity and debt capital, restructuring funds and facilitating the purchase and sale of businesses or platforms. On the client side, he has led corporate development, capital markets and distribution initiatives. This dual perspective gives him a unique ability to bridge strategy with execution, ensuring not only that strong ideas take shape but that the infrastructure exists to make them successful.

Clients value Cam for his adaptability – whether wearing the hat of an executive, banker, operator or mentor. His pragmatic yet creative problem-solving style allows him to balance structure with ingenuity.

Cam holds an MBA/LLB from York University and two undergraduate degrees from the University of Windsor. He currently serves on the investment committees of the 48th Highlanders and St. John’s Council of Ontario. He and his wife Kay reside in Toronto with their two children.

Emmett joined Rothmere Capital Advisory in 2025, bringing more than 15 years of experience across financial services and investment management. His career path has been anything but conventional, spanning national distribution, investor relations, and corporate development within both established institutions and entrepreneurial platforms. This variety of roles has given him a well-rounded perspective on how capital is raised, structured, and deployed.

At Rothmere, Emmett focuses on building and nurturing client relationships, developing capital markets strategies, and strengthening the firm’s industry presence. He also serves on the firm’s Investment Committee, contributing his insights on opportunities and execution.

Clients and colleagues value Emmett’s blend of rigor and creativity, as well as his willingness to challenge assumptions in pursuit of better outcomes. His approach reflects both a deep respect for process and an instinct for finding new ways forward.

Emmett holds a Bachelor of Science from Wilfrid Laurier University, a Certificate in Private Markets and Alternative Investments from the CFA Institute, the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) designation, and is a FRM Level I candidate and a CFA Level III candidate.
